摘 要: 宠儿是托尼莫里森的经典之作,本论文从女性主义观点出发解读《宠儿》中黑人母亲赛斯,贝比苏格斯的形象。本论文从介绍托尼莫尼森的生活经历以及作品《宠儿》入手，然后解读作者塑造的黑人母亲形象。从分析黑人母亲反抗奴隶制的斗争过程，挖掘黑人母亲悲情命运的原因,同时为读者理解托尼••莫尼森的作品提供了新的角度。

An Interpretation of the Black Mother Images in Beloved
Abstract: Beloved is Toni Morrison’s classic work. From feminist perspective, this paper interprets two black mother images--Sethe and Baby Suggs in the novel .The thesis begins with the introduction of Toni Morrison’s life experience and the book Beloved, and then it studies the black mother images .Though analyzing the two mothers’ fighting process against slavery, this paper reveals causes for black mothers’ tragedy, and provides a new angle for readers to understand Morrison’s works.
