摘 要：《大地》是赛珍珠历时多年而成的巨制，它描绘了旧中国动荡时期一普通农民家族三代的起起伏伏。本论文从介绍赛珍珠在中国的生活及创作经历入手，然后运用生态女性主义理论来研究《大地》中作者塑造的典型中国妇女形象。通过分析该作品中的女性角色在遭受压迫时心理和行为上的不同反应，挖掘中国封建背景下女性悲剧产生的原因，进而透视作者的女权观。

An Eco-feminist Interpretation of Female Characters in The Good Earth
Abstract: The Good Earth, one of Pearl S. Buck’s masterpieces after duration of several years, portrays three generations of a Chinese peasant family going through ups and downs during the yeasty days of old China. This thesis begins with the introduction of Buck’s life in China and her writing experience, and then applies eco-feminist theory to study the typical images of Chinese women in The Good Earth. Through analyzing those female characters’ various reactions mentally and behaviorally when facing oppression, this paper reveals profound reasons for their tragedy, and penetrates into author’s feminist perspective.
