Cultural Input in Literature Course
Abstract: In the process of acquiring language, language input plays an important role. In literature course, the material of language input includes not only the language itself but also culture. Based on the theory of language input, this paper attempts to discuss the importance and strategies of cultural input in literature course. By meticulously illustrating many examples, the author puts forward that correct input of culture is very helpful for the teaching of literature course. Only by inputting culture of both parent language and target language can teachers well instruct students and can students fully interpret literary works. The research is of great importance to the development of cultural input theory. It is practical utilization of cultural input in literature course.
