从关联理论看英文电影字幕翻译中的减译(毕业论文9300字)
摘  要：电影字幕翻译在我国是一个新兴的翻译领域，既具有其他翻译领域的共性也有其独特性。本文将根据关联理论的要求和标准，对英文电影字幕翻译中一项最显著 的特点也是最常用的翻译方法—减译进行了初步的研究，探讨了实现减译的理论依据和可行性，从理论的高度来分析研究了字幕翻译在减译三种方法：压缩、删除和 选择性节略三个方面的具体实现过程，指出字幕翻译应该是在有限的时间和空间内，简化或删去超越观众认知能力的无关和次要信息，展示最核心和最重要的信息。

A Relevance Theoretical Approachto Reduction of English Film Subtitle
Abstract: Subtitling is a branch of translation in that it boasts both the common nature of translation and its own uniqueness. This thesis follows the requirements and standards of Relevance theory to conduct a preliminary research addressing the most striking subtitle translation aspect, which is also the most frequently used strategy for subtitling, namely reduction, and probes into a theoretical basis and feasibility analysis for implementing reduction. The author also studies subtitling from a theoretical point of view to analyse the ways English film subtitle to achieve its goal on the levels of the reductive ways, i.e. condensation, deletion and selective abridging, points out that subtitle is to condense or delete the non-important information which is beyond viewers’ cognitive ability, and to present the corn or the most important information in a limited time and space.
